The HomePlate Machine by Sports Tutor, is the machine at the heart of the All Star Ace 5000 Video Simulator. It can throw virtually any pitch at any speed from 35 to 70 MPH in 5 MPH increments, is digitally displayed and all at a touch of a button. Amazingly, it can do it all automatically with as little as seven seconds between pitches. It holds 40softballs and can automatically throw fastballs, riseballs, drops, curves, screwballs, drop curves, drop screwballs and change-ups. There are no wheels or handles to turn. To change pitches, move left, right, up, down or to change speeds you simply press a button. The programmable feature of the HomePlate allows you to store up to eight different pitches in each of eight different programs. The three-wheel HomePlate machine also features an innovative sound and light system designed to help batters time the pitches, as well as enhance safety. |
